How can I combine multiple Excel sheets into one VCF file?

ReplyThanks 2025/12/10 13:57:23 0 0

I have several Excel sheets created over time one with business contacts, one with family, and one with old phone backups. I want to merge all of them and then Convert Excel to VCF in a single file. Some tools allow converting only one sheet at a time, which is time-consuming. Also, I’m worried about duplicates, empty rows, and mismatched field names. Is there a clean method or a tool that supports multi-sheet merging before VCF export?

Hey,

It is possible to integrate several sheets into one VCF file, but before that, you will have to get your data ready in a proper way if you intend to work with an Excel to VCF converter. The majority of tools can only take one sheet at a time; therefore, if your contacts are divided among various tabs, the converter will leave out those that are in different tabs, except if you have already combined them manually.

Preparing your file in the best way:

Gather all contact rows from different sheets and place them in one sheet which will be your master sheet.

Ensure the column headers are the same on every sheet.

When you paste the data do not include duplicate headers.

After merging, remove any extra blank rows.

Save the file once more as XLSX.

Now that your master sheet is set up, you can go ahead and convert Excel to VCF without worrying about missing some contacts. A well-organized tool like WholeClear Excel to vCard Converter is capable of dealing with large combined sheets without any problem as long as the data is in a tidy and uniform format.
